Academy of Learning Career College was founded as a franchise system in 1987. It originally specialized in computer and business skills training for adult learners, based on the Integrated Learning System (ILS).
The Integrated Learning System, a self-directed, multisensory learning experience, is the college's primary method of delivery and is exclusive to the college. Students learn at their own pace, and each lesson has a clearly defined objective and tests understanding. Programs are offered in Accounting, Business, Healthcare, and IT, and can be studied in-person, hybrid, or fully online. Course enrolment is continuous, so students can begin training immediately.
Students are supported on site by a qualified Campus Facilitator or Learning Coach. The college offers an independent atmosphere with an office-like environment for learning. According to the college, its graduates have completed over one million training courses through the Integrated Learning System.
Admission routes include a High School Diploma or mature student status.
