History
The institution was initiated in 1997. It was pioneered under the Maqbool Hussain Educational Welfare Society, which owes its existence to the munificence of Late Janab Abdul Qadir Jeelani. The college is part of the AQJ Group of Institutions, founded in 1996 as the first Muslim Minority Educational Group in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, under the Maqbool Hussain Educational Welfare Society, Mohammed Vaziruddin Educational Society, and Mohammadiya Educational Society.
Mission and Academics
The college aims at producing Global Managers, IT professionals and Technocrats of excellence to equip the Indian Industry with contemporary global acumen. Its mission is to promote an academic society with high moral and genuine human values, and to create a centre of academic excellence which fosters experiential learning. The college offers postgraduate courses including MBA and MCA, with a student teacher ratio of 20:1.
